   Any firm is only as good as the people in it.  At SMP we strive to maintain a collaborative team structure that encourages participation and growth. 

    Our firm is not a pyramid. We have a great crew with widely varied and interesting backgrounds. We have been architects, carpenters, gallery owners, artists, mothers and fathers, professors—we have been around and the experience shows (our average age is 40).  We enjoy each other’s input, a good thing since we all work together in one large open studio. When you call us, everyone has at least a working knowledge of each project.
