The Brown’s needed more space plain and simple. The family also requested a more appropriate front door with which to greet the world. We utilized the slope of the land to accommodate a lower level two car garage which allowed for a much improved entry sequence that included guest parking and an arch entryway. No question about where to enter anymore.  The new addition topped with multiple gables expresses the grand living room supported by exposed beams.  An entry mud room was included as well as a large dining area.  The existing living and dining area can now be used exclusively as a classroom to support home-schooling activities.
