Upon completion of a new facility for St. Theresa’s Church we were asked to also design a home for the pastor. The design includes an open living, dining and kitchen area with high ceilings and clerestory windows. This area opens to a four season porch and includes a gas fireplace that is viewable from both sides of the wall. The master and guest bedroom suites have pocket doors to separate the bedrooms from the main living spaces for privacy. In addition one of the guest bedrooms has an entrance directly from the main entry so that a visiting priest can come and go without having to pass through the rest of the house. This room could also function as a home office.
