After the expansion of the facility, the staff at Henniker Veterinary was able to provide enhanced care to an increasing number of clients. The staff, their customers, and their pets were able to receive improved personal treatment because of the larger exam rooms and needed offices.

The building was in great shape; the owners clearly took pride in their business and wanted the building to reflect that. The problem was the support areas were far too small and outdated to meet the demand and allow the business to operate efficiently; a great staff needs to have great work areas.
Instruct
Our design expanded the facility to give the staff the workspaces which allow them to provide the premium care their clients expect. We expanded their exam room capacity by 30% and provided the needed offices and support spaces they had long gone without.
Build
Taking advantage of the sloping site the addition would be 3 stories with a grade level walk-out on the basement level. The new treatment area, operatory, x ray, and pharmacy were located on the main level along with the expanded exam rooms. The lower level and third floor were dedicated to staff offices, break room, storage and other support areas. A rear patio and lawn connected to the break room make for great company BBQ’s or a place for a few moments of respite on those hectic days.
